		<description>@Tom, good call! Completely forgot about HL2, probably because they solved it in such a different way. The bog standard method is boil you down to your most basic item (pistol or knife to continue the FPS example) and in HL2 they gave you one of the most powerful tools in the game.</description>

I can&#039;t think of any great examples off the top of my head, can you?</description>

		<description>I kind of like those level moments in FPS solos where you lose all your gear and, while knowing you&#039;re probably going to pick up your &#039;pack&#039; again, you do have to run madly or think laterally because your &#039;tools&#039; have been removed. Just that quick paradigm shift that allows you to appreciate your chainsaw/smg/powers because of their absence.</description>
